From Chaos to Clarity.

“Mind the Noise” is an innovative indoor drumline show that explores the spectrum of sound, from chaotic cacophony to serene silence.

The opener immerses the audience in a whirlwind of intriguing sounds, highlighted by a unique cabasa feature for the snare line and the use of white noise, creating an intense auditory experience. The second movement delves deeper into the world of noise, with the battery split on both sides of the floor, experimenting with color and timbre to produce an array of captivating effects.

The final movement shifts the focus to the absence of noise, discovering peace and tranquility. This newfound calm energizes a thrilling conclusion, where personal clarity emerges from the chaos. “Mind the Noise” is a journey through sound that captivates and inspires, leaving a lasting impression on all who experience it.

This show was first commissioned in 2024 by Bakersfield College and was PIO finalist at WGI World Championships.
