Into the shadow, where light and darkness collide…

Prepare to be captivated by Eclipse—a breathtaking journey through the celestial dance of light and shadow. With its bold musical design and dramatic visual storytelling, this show promises to leave audiences in awe and judges on the edge of their seats.

Part 1: Awakening – A mature, poignant, and powerful introduction sets the stage for the journey ahead. Eclipse props make their striking debut, while a soloist captures the audience’s attention, embodying the story’s opening moments.

Part 2: Looming Darkness – The eclipse begins its inevitable approach, casting an ominous shadow. Tension builds with every passing moment, as the music and visuals drive anticipation to the edge.

Part 3: The Void Within – Total darkness. This is the heart of the eclipse—a place both haunting and beautiful. Within the void lies an ethereal stillness, captivating and otherworldly.

Part 4: Return to Light – Light triumphantly breaks through the darkness, bringing the performance to a jubilant and radiant conclusion. This celebration of renewal leaves audiences inspired and exhilarated.

This show was commissioned by Foothill High School (Henderson, NV) for fall 2024 and won first place in the NMBC Championships.

Note: This show includes arrangements  of “Moon River” by Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer as well as “The Old Moon in the New Moon’s Arms” by Michael Kamen. Additional licensing and associated fees will apply, but we’ll handle acquiring the licensing for you. Contact us with any questions.
