Description
Conceptualized by James Ana and Gabe Escobedo
A small tree gives freely to a boy who returns throughout his life. First, it offers shade and fruit, then its branches, then its trunk, each gift made with love and without expectation. As the boy grows older, his needs change, and the tree continues to give until it has almost nothing left to offer.
In the end, what remains is not the tree’s strength or beauty but its willingness to sacrifice. The story reflects on generosity, devotion, and the quiet cost of loving without limits, asking whether fulfillment comes from what we take or from what we give.
