Description

Throughout history, snakes are often depicted as deceptive and cunning tricksters. They can constrict and suffocate their prey, they can strike with venomous ferocity, and they can slither and sneak undetected through the jungle. In “For Man We Wait…,” your performers will embody the persona of these cunning and deceptive serpents. Set in the Garden of Eden before Adam and Eve arrive, this show will be sure to captivate your audience as your performers wait patiently to lure Adam and Eve to partake of the Garden’s forbidden fruit.

Originally commissioned by Bakersfield College for the 2019 season, “For Man We Wait…” won the gold medal at WGI Independent Open Class Championships.
