The News Cycle


Extra Extra! Hot off the presses! An homage to the news, this nostalgic and exciting show takes the audience through multiple eras of historic newsworthy world events. Amelia Earhart flying solo across the Atlantic, the Empire State Building being built, and the attack on Pearl Harbor are just a few of the events highlighted in this show. The closer fast forwards to the era of television news and touches on moments that will strike nostalgia into your audience. As the events happen in the show, the music changes moods to match for an emotional ride through the ups and downs of some of America’s most memorable moments.

This show was first commissioned by Deer Valley High School for fall 2019.
