“To know Paris is to know a great deal.” – Henry Miller
“Classique Nouveau” is all about transporting the audience back to the enchanting era of Paris in its bohemian period. The show brings to life the sights, sounds, and colors of this beautiful city, allowing the audience to experience the magic of Paris in all its glory.
The first notes of the program are “La vie en rose.” It fills the air, immediately immersing the audience in the timeless charm of Paris. As the show progresses, the audience is treated to a beautiful rendition of “Once Upon a Dream,” transporting them to the world of fairy tales and enchantment. The music and performance evoke a sense of nostalgia and wonder as the audience imagines themselves in the heart of Paris, surrounded by its magical allure. During the percussion feature, a young writer is frustrated at his typewriter as his love has left him. She was his muse, and now he is writing his next masterpiece with more passion. The closer brings the whole city together at night under the lights to take the production home one last time.
This show is a beautiful fusion of traditional Parisian culture and modern innovation, showcasing the city’s enduring influence and appeal.
