“In each of us, two natures are at war, the good and the evil,
one of them must conquer.”
This productions takes place in London where Dr. Jekyll first meets Mr. Hyde.
Our story begins with a theatrical intro that sets the mood for the future internal struggle of the band. A rendition of “Where Is My Mind” is set by the piano that is the moment right before Mr. Hyde Takes over. Hyde lives in our opener as he starts to terrorize London by night. He is carefree, but slowly turns to evil and goes completely mad.
Our ballad takes place the day after as Dr. Jekyll feels guilty for Hyde’s actions. He begins to investigate his past actions with this inquisitive music that features music from BBC’s Sherlock. He begins to feel remorse, but it is too late…
…Mr. Hyde kicks back in that starts our Percussion Feature. From there it’s the final internal battle of Jekyll & Hyde. Lots of a lot of back and forth moments between Woodwinds and Brass. Who will win in the end?
Some musical opportunities include several Woodwind and Brass trade-offs, a woodwind sextet, a brass quartet, and two marching batteries that represent Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Visual opportunities include color, changing sashes that the performers where to change from black and red for the different states of mind. Backdrops can portray the city of London by night. And much, much more!
