“She was a teenage girl like any other, dreaming of 1s and 0s…the year was 1986”
This show revolves around a teenage girl, who dreams of having a best friend, and a robot that she builds in her father’s garage with hopes of making her dream come to life. Their budding friendship is chronicled as the show progresses through a series of emotions and malfunctions.
The production is brought to life with three outstanding visuals: a robot head animation, a moving garage stage, and a character. Along with these visuals, the 1980s music soundscape combined with a modern pop melody makes this production unique among others. The marching members serve to guide the robot as it is cycling through its several emotions, all of which correspond with the shifts in mood throughout the show. The show ends with the robot finally coming alive; the final movement is accompanied by a great musical/visual effect that will charm the audience one last time.
Watching the video is a must for understanding the coordinated events and how they play out throughout the production. A definite crowd pleaser!
Note: This show includes an arrangement of “Closer” by The Chainsmokers. Additional licensing and associated fees will apply but we’ll handle acquiring the licensing for you. Contact us with any questions.
